Erica Shockley is an aspiring CFP-certified financial planner with a robust background in the philanthropic sphere of the wealth management space. As a former fundraiser, she is a firm believer in building personal and familial legacies through impactful charitable giving and estate planning.
Erica yields over 10 years of experience connecting results-driven organizations with the people who want to invest in them. She’s thrived in a variety of roles, from soliciting major gifts from individual donors, crafting compelling grant proposals, and conducting fundraising assessments for emerging nonprofits.
In this new chapter of her career, Erica looks forward to leveraging her relationship-building skills and metrics orientation to empower individuals who have been overlooked by the financial services industry, especially women, BIPOC individuals, and childfree people. She is especially interested in culturally competent retirement planning, wealth-building strategies regardless of one’s starting point, and the psychology of personal finance.
