Alisa is the Founder of The Widowed Parent, a website that provides free information and resources to widowed parents and their children. She recently retired from a career in technology program management and process improvement to pursue her interest in personal finance. She has an MBA and is a CFP® candidate. Alisa lives with her teenage daughter in Connecticut and is passionate about helping women who are going through a life transition.
