Monica Cervantes, CDFA®, BFA™, MSA

Monica Cervantes is a Financial Advisor and shareholder at PAX Financial Group in San Antonio, Texas, where she helps individuals and families make confident, informed financial decisions through comprehensive, fiduciary financial planning. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Monica is passionate about making quality financial guidance accessible to a diverse community and ensuring clients feel understood every step of the planning process.

With a background in public accounting and a master's degree in accounting, Monica specializes in retirement planning, tax-aware investment strategies, and financial planning through major life transitions.

As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), Monica works closely with clients before, during, and after divorce to help them understand the long-term financial implications of important decisions and create a roadmap for their next chapter. She is also a frequent speaker on financial planning topics for universities, community organizations, and divorce education workshops.

Outside of her advisory practice, Monica is deeply committed to serving her community. She currently serves on the Financial Planning Association of San Antonio & South Texas Board of Directors, the Guardian House Board of Directors, and the University of the Incarnate Word H-E-B School of Business Dean's Advisory Council. She is also a former board member of Aid the Silent and AEM Jóvenes. Monica believes that financial education should be accessible to everyone and is passionate about empowering individuals—especially women—to make informed financial decisions with confidence.
