Volunteer’s Bio

Shuur Ahmed, MBA

After spending 40+ years in technology, helping companies with their planning - Shuur has switched gear to help individuals with their financial planning.

Shuur is originally from Kansas City and moved to Boston for college. During his career, he worked with many mission-driven technology companies in the Boston area. He currently resides in southern NH with his wife (who runs a non-for-profit that teaches self-defense) and their rescue cats.

His personal financial journey included student and credit card debt and navigating becoming a widower. He has helped family and friends, with their own financial journeys. His goal is to utilize those “lessons-learned” to empathetically understand the current financial situation of anyone asking for help.
