Biografía del voluntario

Growing up, my family experienced severe financial hardship. We lost our home, faced bankruptcy, and lived with the constant, crushing stress of financial insecurity. Watching my parents navigate that struggle without a safety net or a clear roadmap left a lasting impression on me. It taught me firsthand how deeply financial instability impacts a person's peace of mind, family dynamic, and future. Those early experiences ultimately drove me to build a career in finance.

Today, as a Consulting Director in the financial services industry and a candidate for the Certified Financial Counselor (CFC) designation, I am volunteering with Women’s Money Matters because I want to use my lived experience and professional expertise to ensure other women don't have to face these struggles alone. I want to break the cycle of financial anxiety by providing the empathetic, practical, and accessible coaching that empowers women to take control of their money, protect their families, and build a secure future.
