Volunteer's Bio
For me, money has never been just about numbers. My three years working in the front office of a financial planning firm showed me the gap between people’s finances and their actual sense of well-being. That gap is what pulled me toward a different kind of work within the financial industry: helping people understand their relationship with money, from the habits and beliefs driving their decisions to the anxiety or avoidance that so often gets in the way.
I’m a candidate for the AFC® (Accredited Financial Counselor) and a member of the AFCPE®, with a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our two cats, or I’m outdoors playing Pokémon GO.
