Brittney Martinez is a senior financial services leader with more than 25 years of experience in consumer lending, credit management, operations, and risk management. Throughout her career, she has led large teams, improved operational processes, and helped customers navigate complex financial situations with a focus on fairness, compliance, and long-term financial well-being.
Currently serving in senior leadership at Capital One, Brittney has extensive experience in credit card lending, collections, customer servicing, and regulatory compliance. She is passionate about helping people understand their financial options, build healthy financial habits, and make informed decisions during both everyday financial situations and times of hardship.
Brittney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Utah and an MBA from Bellevue University. She is also pursuing the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification to expand her ability to provide comprehensive, client-centered financial guidance.
As a volunteer with Savvy Ladies, Brittney is excited to combine her professional expertise with her passion for financial education. She believes that financial confidence begins with knowledge and that everyone deserves access to practical, judgment-free guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Brittney enjoys traveling with her family, golfing, skiing, reading, and continually learning about personal finance and investing. She is especially passionate about empowering women to build financial security and confidence at every stage of life.
