About David:

David Ragland is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) and Chief Executive Officer of IRC Wealth, a private asset management company based in Atlanta. He is also passionate about helping clients regain control of their financial future. His approach is to develop simple, individualized plans for his clients, and then empower them with ongoing coaching and knowledge.

Holding both a BBA and a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia, David began his career in the tax division of Ernst & Young. He then served as CFO for several companies, gaining experience in taking companies public and propelling them on to the INC 500 List of Fastest Growing Companies.

While transforming companies, David was also transforming himself from an overweight, sedentary executive to a top 10th percentile competitor in one of the most demanding races known in sports—The Ironman.

As David worked with small businesses as a CFO consultant, his clients frequently asked him to develop a financial plan for their personal investments. He soon realized that his CFO, tax accountant and Ironman-training experience were a winning combination when creating individualized financial plans for clients.

Since then David has been designated a CFP®, having met the certification board’s education, examination, experience and ethics requirements. He also received his CDFA® to further expand his knowledge on how to help clients with financial issues during divorce.

A vibrant, energetic speakerbest-selling author, businessman and Ironman triathlete, David Ragland understands and articulates the core ingredients that motivate, energize and push people across their personal finish lines.

David sits on the Board of Advisors for the Kyle Pease Foundation (KPF) which creates awareness and raises funds to promote success for persons with disabilities by providing assistance to meet their individual needs through sports.

David spends his free time at home in the historic Peachtree Hills neighborhood, where you’ll find him running with his rescue dog in the heart of Atlanta.
